All My Children and One Life to Live CANCELLED
Yesterday, I learned that my two favorite soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live will be cancelled. All My Children will come to an end in September of this year after 40+ years and One Life to Live will come to an end after about the same amount of time. I am very sad about this news. It hurts me to hear of such news. There is very little television that I find myself even a little interested in. I like the Soap Opera genre because it has characters that tell a fresh story on a daily basis. So sad that they want to cancel them to put on a silly talk show and a cooking show. I don't see the television in my bedroom even getting warm very much anymore once All My Children is over. Once that happens, I will watch what is left of One Life to Live on my computer. My understanding is that once these two soaps are over is that there will only be four soaps left on television. I would worry for them if I had any interest in them. What would I do to keep myself from being bored. I guess I will continue with my writing and write letters with my idea to have my soap operas continue on on a different channel or on cable.
